If you are looking for Really clean dishes and a quiet dishwasher. The high end Maytag should do the trick.

I bought a Whirlpool Elite (sears brand) and we are very happy with the way this dishwasher cleans dishes. I didn’t realize how poorly our old one was working until now.

I would recommend that you look at Consumers Reports for a very good, unbiased look at products. That’s where I always go.

I’ve been told by numerous appliance repair folks that Maytag is the best followed closely by Whirlpool.
