Soak them in hot water and vinegar,then rinse.

You cannot get it off-it’s called etching. It’s what those chemicals in the detergent do to the glass, etch little scratches into it.

Try Jet Dri. It helps a little, so long as the etching isn’t severe. I’ve tried the vinegar thing. I followed Martha’s suggestions to the letter and it didn’t work. Then I switched to a more eco friendly detergent and most of the streaks went away.

Just add a capful of vinegar to your washer next time, or put it in where the rinse goes in your dishwasher. I just throw it in works every time.

Try running the dishwasher with unsweetened lemonade KoolAid in the soap dispenser.
The acidic nature will break down the residue and help to give them the shine back and it smells much better than vinegar. It works great to get rid of other stains too.

If Handwashing them does not work. Soak in Vinegar and rewash. Don’t use cheap detergent and use Jet Dry.
