not a dumb ques at all…if u still have the paperwork, there is a 800# on there, they r supp to send u out sumone for u. if u dont have the paperwork, go on the internet and look up the brand of the dishwasher, and they shud hv all the #s u need. if u call sumone from the yellowpages, they r really expensive per hour.
Look under “Appliances-parts and service” in your yellow pages. Most are certified to work on any brand, and would be the same techs that you would get by calling the 800 number in the manual. Hope this helps.
There are a lot of appliance repair people out there, but you may also want to look into just getting a new one through Home Depot or Lowes if yours is an older model.
Prices have really dropped over the past 5-8 years and they’ll usually even deliver it, connect it, and haul away the bad one for you. Just a thought.
Depending on your problem, it could be a simple fix like the fuse in the main panel. A $2.00 fuse can turn into a $150 service call.
