Our freezer is working, though a refrigerator territory is warm. Others have referred to which a air blower is not floating in to a refrigerator section. We have unplugged a refrigerator overnight to unfreeze it out if there is any buildup. But alas, a complaint persists. We think a air blower engine is burnt out. Where is a air blower located in a refrigerator unit, as well as how do we get during it to reinstate it? Maytag site does not have a indication number. It is an Admiral HMG79143. Any assistance is most appreciated!!
Thank we for all your answers, however, a subject asking if their is a manual, not about a part. we can find a right part, though if we do not know how to get during it, afterwards we won’t be means to reinstate which part. Googling, does no good. All a sites lead to correct adds.

Goggle in the name of your fridge, and look for parts and manuals, I did this for my stove. Good Luck
Inside the freezer section on the back wall you should see some screws. If you remove them then the panel should be easy to remove- behind it is your fan. Be sure to pull the power plug.
The fan blade is very delicate–be careful with it. You can bend it real easy and make it not push enough air, or make it bind against the wall or panel.
You will have to remove the shelves first.
Maytag went out of business a couple years ago. Whirlpool took over their product line. I put all Maytag appliances in my home about 8 years ago dw, fridge, stove- one of the worst mistakes I ever made. I still have the fridge- but I have had major repairs 2 times.
Good luck-
I think you’re probably right about the motor being out. You can call Maytag at 1 (800) 344-1274 or you may be able to find the right motor at homedepot.com/appliancerepair.
is there one or two switches in the door jamb? open the door and if there is only have one, try pressing it in and see if the light goes out and the fan turns on before you go crazy taking anything apart. if the switch is bad, when you close the door, the light will stay on and heat up the food compartment! if you have two switches, the light should go out when you press one in, and the fan should turn on when you press the other one. make sure that is what is happening when you press them in. you may have to listen for the fan, as opposed to seeing it turn on, and you may be able to feel it blowing, if it’s working.
the switch is a lot cheaper than the fan motor, and is also easier to replace, if you are doing the repair yourself.
make sure that you write down the model and serial numbers before you call the parts store, so that you have the proper info when they ask for it. and you can also ask them for tips on how to replace each of those parts when you are talking to them, either in person when you pick the part up, or on the phone when you order it.
good luck, hope it’s a cheap repair, car dude.
